Dance Class and Cheerleader Exhibit

February 22, 2019 @ 2:15 pm - 3:30 pm

Sixth grade teams Keller and Parks and 7th grade teams Little Rock and Calcutta will be showcasing the performances they have created in their second trimester dance class.  Our Pride cheerleaders will also exhibit their routines for the entire Pride community.  Performances begin at 2:15 in the Great Room, and parents are welcome.

Parent Council Meeting

February 28, 2019 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

The Pride Parent Council will host a parent council meeting on Wednesday, February 28 at 5:30.  A light dinner is always provided, and children are able to attend and eat.  Each meeting has parents involved in decision making and goal setting as "a community as a whole."   You can be a regular member or attend meetings when you can.  Every parent is always welcome, and every parent has a voice.

7th Grade Project Pride Installation

March 1, 2019 @ 1:30 pm - 2:00 pm

The 7th grade Project Pride community service project "Kindness Rocks" will be installed at Elmwood Park in East Orange at 1:30 pm.  The students will be creating a station where park visitors can find painted rocks with motivational messages illustrated by the students. Rocks can be shared via #priderockskindness.

Saturday APP Program

The Saturday Advanced Proficiency Program (Saturday APP)  provides scholars with extended learning opportunities in both Math and English Language Arts (ELA) in order to be successful as they prepare for the next grade level and for NJSLA. Scholars will begin each session with a motivational message from our huddle leader before beginning their 75 minute sessions in each class. 8th Grade Graduation Pictures

March 7, 2019 @ 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

8th grade girls are asked to wear a tank top under their uniform and 8th grade boys must wear or bring a white buttoned down shirt for 8th grade graduation pictures.  Scholars are allowed to wear makeup and jewelry as well.
