Pride Academy encourages and welcomes the involvement of parents in the life of our school. The school administration and faculty are committed to building partnerships with parents to help children achieve high standards and to collaborating with the community to enhance its educational program.
At PRIDE, we are dedicated to working in partnership with parents and to providing opportunities for on-going parental support and leadership. Throughout the year, the school hosts parent council meetings, parent workshops and outreach programs.

Parents and Teachers
At Pride We believe that nothing is more important to your child’s education at school than having dedicated, responsive, and well-prepared teachers. Our teachers meet the “highly qualified” standard, as required for Title I funding. We are we are happy to share information about our teachers qualifications with parents, as explained in our:
- Title I, Right to know letter.
At Pride, we encourage contact between parents and their student’s teachers through:
- Parent-teacher conferences.
- Frequent reports on student progress including Report Card Nights and Progress Reports.
- Calls home to parents.
Parents may contact teachers directly via telephone, voicemail, or email. Parents are also encouraged to contact the school to make appointments for face-to-face meetings or telephone conferences.
