National Junior Honor Society
National Junior Honors Society (NJHS) is a national organization dedicated to community service and building the next generation of leaders. Pride Academy has its own NJHS Chapter established in 2023. In NJHS at Pride, students help out the community through service hours and hosting events that promote Pride’s core values. To qualify for NJHS, students must consistently have high academic honors (all A’s) and core value honors for at least two trimesters. Afterward, they can apply to NJHS and be voted in by our council members. NJHS scholars are required to complete 100 hours of service by graduation. Students who complete 200 hours are considered distinguished graduates. Students must also maintain high academic honors and core value honors throughout their time in NJHS or are subject to dismissal.
