Sibling Policy Preference is given to siblings, meaning sister or brother, of currently enrolled students (N.J.S.A 36A-8c). Once a student is admitted, if the student has a sibling or siblings who have also applied for admission, they will automatically be admitted, as space allows. (Birth certificates demonstrating proof of sibling-hood will be required.)

PRIDE Academy Charter School serves students in grades 5-8. The entire student body numbers 300, with 3 classes of 25 students per each grade. The teacher-student ratio is 1:9
 
How does PRIDE Academy select its students?
PRIDE Academy Charter School conducts a lottery in front of interested parents and observers to determine who will be admitted, pursuant with N.J.S.A. 36A-8(a). All applicants will be entered into the lottery. Names are drawn from a lottery drum until all spaces are filled and will continue to establish the waiting list. Students will be placed on the waiting list in the order their names are drawn. After a class is filled, the order of the waiting list will be established by continuing to draw names in a public lottery.
